Can’t understand you
My MOST ESSENTIAL sewing room tool is ……. The Cat’s Bed! I’ve moved multiple times over the last 30 years, and now I’ve learnt to have space for the cats in my work room. They seem to find real comfort in the continuity of their bed in my room no matter which house we now live in. Plus it keeps them off the cutting bench, or sitting on fabric as I’m sewing.
As I set up the furniture I always take into consideration where the cat bed is going to go, they look for and head straight towards it when the door is open.
Just a heads up about the Simflex ruler – I have it and used it and found that it doesn’t always space equally.
One a project I had some buttonholes come out a little uneven because some of the ruler sections were slightly closer or farther away from the other sections, we’re talking not quite 1/4″ difference in some spots.
Maybe I got a defective ruler? I don’t know, but I did want you to know about this in case precision is really important for your projects.
I still use the ruler but now verify the spacing against a ruler before actually sewing anything.
What is the tip for the 1.5 cm tape measure? I can’t understand this bit.
